Silent Book Club is a global community of readers with 500 chapters around the world! Our group starts at 6:00 with a half hour to mingle and socialize. This is followed by an hour of silent reading. There is no required book, just bring what you are currently reading! At the end of the hour, there will be an opportunity for more socializing and wrap-up if you choose.

Blossom Heath Park has tables, benches, and chairs for sitting. A beach house with additional indoor seating is available for bad weather. Restrooms are located inside the beach house. You can find our group at the Adirondack chairs near the beach during warmer months or inside the beach house during cold ones. Look for the chalkboard sign we will have out! Entry to this park by car requires a park pass available to residents only. Non-residents can park outside of the park and walk in. This group typically meets first Tuesdays but dates can sometimes vary due to the weather. Check our events page for listings.
Join us at the historic Fisher Building! Meetings take place in the vintage-style Ambassador Lounge located inside the Fisher Theatre! Our friends at Broadway in Detroit even open the bar for drinks. Meet us at the theatre doors at 6 and someone will guide you down to the lounge. Ample metered street parking is available or at the paid lots both behind and next to the building if you prefer.
