Current Inventory

Current inventory is available at our pop-up events for both sale and pickup.  To ensure that your item is available, order and select "pickup" at checkout.  You will have the option to select which event you would like to pickup at, and it will be waiting for you there.

Local delivery is now available in Saint Clair Shores and Grosse Pointe, Michigan!

Select "Local Delivery" at checkout.  If your zip code is 48080, 48081, 48082, 48215, 48224, 48230 or 48236 you will qualify.  Your order will be dropped off in 1-3 business days.  This is one of our favorite services, and we're excited to offer it to local customers.

Shipping is also available within the continental United States.

Occasionally we're asked to deliver to a local business when a person lives outside of town.  We do not currently partner with any local businesses as pick-up locations.  However, If you have an existing relationship with a local business owner, and have gotten their permission in advance, we'll happily deliver your item there for you.  In this case please specify the address you will have us deliver to when you place your order.  We may need to also contact you to verify.

Online Ordering from our Full Catalog/Bookshop

For online book orders, we have partnered with  This gives us the opportunity to provide competitive shipping rates and a full catalog of books available for shipping! 

Orders placed through our Full Catalog page will ship to you directly from Bookshop. 



Our return policy lasts 30 days.  If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you an exchange or refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.  It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of items are exempt from being returned.  Perishable goods such as food, tea, newspapers, and magazines cannot be returned.  Additional non-returnable items are gift cards, masks, downloadable items, and books with obvious signs of use.

To complete a return, we require a receipt (emailed or printed) or proof of purchase.

Refunds in Person

Refunds in person will be refunded to the original form of payment.

Refunds by Mail

Due to our movable business model, we understand that sometimes a customer may not be able to meet us in person for a refund.  In these situations we allow refunds by mail! Purchaser will be responsible for shipping fees.  To start this process, please email us at so that we can assist you.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is posted.

Sales Items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and we will email you shipping instructions.


If the item was marked a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.  If the purchase was made online, a gift certificate will be mailed to you once the return is received.

If the item wasn't marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she be aware of your return.

Shipping a Return

To return your product you should notify us of your intent to return at and we will email shipping instructions to you promptly.  

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item.  

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged products to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.  We don't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
